If you're looking for a free, festive activity to take part in with the little ones this week then why not join in the fun at "Little Elves Day Out" in Brisbane's Southbank, a range of free classes allowing your kids to get creative and explore different types of arts and crafts.
Derived from the ever so popular "Little Days Out" programme, these classes focus on the current Christmas climate and are running on a daily basis all this week.
WHAT? Monday 19th December - Christmas Craft: Elf Hats with Bazil Grumble - Kids are given the chance to think about what kind of elf they want to be- happy? Giggly? Mischievous? Once they've figured it out they will be able to use this idea to create their very own elf hat to take home and wear.
Tuesday 20th December to Friday 23rd December - Christmas Craft: Santa’s Little Helpers Workshop by The Design Farm - During this class, participating children will be able to create their very own Christmas character costume to take home. Who will they choose to be? There's plenty of choice, even the big guy in red himself is up for grabs!
WHERE? The event takes place on the little Stanly Street Lawns, South Bank Parklands, Cnr Ernest Street, Stanley Street and Grey Street, South Brisbane, Australia.
WHEN? Classes run all of this week from 11am until 4pm and you are able to come and go as you please between these time slots.
GOOD TO KNOW Classes are completely free of charge, suitable for all ages (although aimed at a younger audience) and bookings are not required!
