Indoor play and activity centres can be a lifesaver for parents no matter what the weather is like. Kids will be sure to burn lots of energy while you supervise comfortably with a coffee; what’s not to love?

Here are 5 awesome indoor kids centres across the Brisbane area:

Bay Play, Cleveland

An Australiana themed play centre that has lots to offer for any age, Bay Play Cleveland is well equipped with a number of different activities that will keep kids moving from the get go.

Bay Play Cleveland

The largest play gym boasts a 3 seat racing slide, ball shooters and numerous climbing holes and bridges whilst the under 4’s Toddler Area will keep little ones busy without the risk of older kids rushing around.

The centre is also home to state-of-the-art springless trampolines, a large climbing wall complete with sponge pit, as well as an electronic combat section.

Take a seat, enjoy a coffee and a range of meals and snacks and let the kids run wild.

Sky Zone, Macgregor

Sky Zone is an indoor jump park which is home to hundreds of trampolines, literally allowing you to bounce off the walls! Older kids are also able to make use of the in-house laser tag arena as well the indoor climbing centre.

Sky Zone has successfully targeted kids of any age, and for younger ones, the centre also offers the “Little Leapers” kids programme, aimed at kids 5 years and under who may feel slightly overwhelmed when jumping among the older guests.

Slightly more expensive than some of our other indoor options, however more than worth it for a planned day out with the family.

Inflatable World, Numerous Locations

With a slightly different take on indoor play gyms, Inflatable World is home to some of the largest inflatable playgrounds in Australia. With areas for older kids and also little ones, Inflatable world is perfect for all the family- even the grown ups!

Along with standard jumping castles, the centres also offer inflatable gladiator arenas, velcro walls and numerous bouncy slides. Adults are actively invited to join in with kids but also have the opportunity to sit back with a coffee and a snack whilst watching the fun unfold.

With an underwater theme continued throughout all aspects of the centre, We Play Carindale is big enough for children and parents alike. With a multistorey play gym, under 5’s area and electric ride on cars race track, you’ll find it hard to tear your child away at the end of the day.

The decor is completed to a high standard and is very impressive in comparison to other indoor play centres. We Play also offers hot and cold food suitable for all ages as well as several themed party rooms if you were looking to celebrate any special birthdays.

Chipmunks Play Land and Cafe, Numerous Locations

Chipmunks offers unlimited play for kids aged 11 years and under and also includes a full service cafe for supervising adults to sit back and relax.

With numerous locations across Australia and four in Brisbane, Chipmunks is home to some of the largest and coolest activity gyms that the market has to offer.

These centres fully encourage imaginative play with pretend stages for kids to put on their own shows and performances, and certain locations also include rides.
