Best Places to Meet Santa

No matter if you call him Santa Clause, Kris Kringle or Father Christmas, taking your kids to meet Santa is an absolutely magical experience. Watching their little faces light up at meeting their hero in person, is a huge joy in a parent's life. And if they are a bit afraid, and maybe shed a few tears, it makes for a great photo op anyway!

So where can you take your family to meet Santa in Brisbane this year? We have scoped out some of the best spots and most famous Santas as recommended by other Brisbane Mums.



Do you need updated family photos?
1. Indooroopilly Shopping Centre

Indooroopilly Shopping Centre offers free digital Santa photos in Santa World and they are also doing free sensory friendly Santa photos for Brisbane kids with sensory needs by booking a time slot. See here on more information on how to book.

When: 10 November to 24 December
Where: Santa World, Level 1 near Coles

2. Toombul Shopping Centre

Do you need updated family photos?
Every child that has their photo taken will receive a special gift from Santa. Photo packages start from $20.95 and you can prebook online here. Toombul are also offering free sensitive Santa photos. A sensory session is a visit with Santa that has limited crowds and minimum noise as the session is usually before the centre opens to the public. You can book online.

When: 12 November to 24 December
Where Outside Target

3. Brookside Shopping Centre

At Brookside you can pre book your place in line on the ipad at the shops when you get there so you can do your shopping then come back. Photos start from $15. They also offer sensitive Santa photos.

When: 23 November to 24 December
Where: Opposite Stefan

4. Strathpine Shopping Centre

Visit Santa at his brand new Santa house near Coles. Every child receives a gift with a photo purchase but keep in mind that purchases aren't compulsory. Photo purchases start at $22. Check online for times.

When: 18 November to 24 December
Where: Near Coles



5. David Jones

Santa will be dropping into David Jones Centres across Brisbane! Here are some of the places and dates:

Queens Plaza 10 November to 24 December
Robina Town Centre 24 November to 24 December

You can book online here.

Santa will also be roaming all David Jones stores with a toy department on 12 December so you can snap a selfie.

6. Myer Santa Land

Myer stores across Brisbane have Santa Land where you can get a photo with Santa and soak up the magical atmosphere. The Brisbane City Store also has the Myer window display with an Alice in Wonderland theme. Other stores include Carindale, Indooroopilly and North Lakes. You can find out more info here.

7. Orion Springfield Central Shopping Centre

Santa Photos at Orion start at $20.95 and you can book ahead of time online here. Orion are also doing a magical Christmas show and carnival with rides, circus acts and Christmas festivities. For more information on this see here.

8. SuperVets at Hendra

To celebrate the opening of their new SuperVets store at Hendra, they are hosting a Family Fun Day. There will be free Santa photos, an animal rescue petting zoo, face painting and food trucks. See here for more information.

Where: 441 Nudgee Road, Hendra

Each year Harvey Norman does free Santa Photos that receive rave reviews. The details for 2018 could not be found at the time of writing this article but check out their Facebook page to see any upcoming events.
