Birds and Bees Cafe - Everton Hills

by Sally Foster (follow)
Perfect for a Mothers Group Meet Up

Birds and Bees Cafe is a beautiful cafe tucked away in the leafy suburb of Everton Hills. It comes highly recommended for your next Mothers Group meet up due to its relaxed atmosphere and facilities for the kids.

There is plenty of seating and still enough room for a pram and a high chair so that you can bring your kids in tow, and not have to worry about jamming your pram into a very small space. Which can be a very stressful experience.

If you need some time out from the kids over the weekend, want to enjoy a bit of adult conversation and a relaxed tour of the city, Brisbane Food Safari Club has a new experience starting in July.
The Brisbane Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Brisbane mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
Birds and Bees pride themselves on being family-friendly, and undoubtedly the best part about this cafe for Brisbane Mums is that there is a cornered off and fenced play area that is full of toys. This includes ride on's and drawing activities to keep them happy and busy. To me, there is nothing better than a cafe that understands that Mumma needs her coffee in peace!

The food is very popular with the locals, and there is plenty of choices. As well as coffee, they have healthy smoothies to kickstart your day. If you are headed there for breakfast, you can tuck into some fresh favourites like an acai bowl, corn fritters or sauteed mushrooms, as well as all the classic brekkie options like scrambled eggs and avo on toast.

Birds and Bees are also open for lunch and even dinner! It is a wonderful place to have a local family dinner without travelling into the city. Their dinner menu is very appealing, with items such as empanadas, pork belly and garlic chilli prawn fettucine. It is a very modern Australian fusion. Alcohol is also served at dinner.

Don't forget the kids, there are options for them at all three meals. There is not a lot of choices for the kids, but they are firm favourites nonetheless and will be sure to keep them happy.
