Monday 19th of December to Friday 23rd of December
by Sophie Cannon (follow)
One of the best things about the festive period is seeing all of the Christmas lights pop up around our neighbourhood and this year has been no exception.

That being said, there's also nothing worse than driving the streets with your sat nav and a list of Brisbane's best house displays and getting royally lost- a front seat quarrel tends to remove any magic out of the situation, so why not let someone else do the hard work for you on a Christmas Lights Bus Tour? Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

There are a number of Brisbane bus tours to choose from, the main one being provided by Brisbane City Council so we've put together all the basic information you'll need to take part.

However for some, the idea of the bus tour isn't ideal and they would prefer to make the decisions and navigate themselves so below you will find some helpful websites to help you pick out the best houses to visit and why.

Head over to the Families Magazine Website to view their list of some of the best Brisbane houses to check out and where they are located.
Brisbane Kids have also posted their ultimate Brisbane Christmas Lights list so head on over and check out their suggestions of what are the best houses/displays to visit.
christmaslightsearch.com.au is an awesome search engine website that allows you to search by suburb or postcode and it will show you where all of the best Christmas lights are within that local area.
