Are you looking to find a new hobby, to reignite that creative spark, and to make new friends?
The Brisbane Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Brisbane mums, and to have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
During this 3 hour class at a cafe in the West End OR Clayfield, you'll be guided by professional instructors Chinta or Rhonda, who can help you learn from scratch if you're a beginner. They also host a range of workshops for the more experienced to try and learn new skills. Each workshop focusses on a different type of stitch.
You are also most welcome to bring your baby and toddlers along (or not!) if they are happy to sit and entertain themselves.
A hot drink is included in the price. When booking please indicate if you would like hooks and yarn included (for a little bit extra), or you can bring your own.
All mums with an interest in crochet (whether you have been to a meetup or not) are also invited to join the Brisbane Crochet Club Facebook Group where you can share your crochet projects, find inspiration, make mummy friends, and also just have a good yarn!
Do you want to learn how to knit? Or have recently started and would like to meet some new friends to share your creativity with, all while having a good chat? The Brisbane Knitting Club has classes starting in January 2019.
