Easter holidays are fast approaching and there are so many awesome events and activities coming up for all members of the family.



We've put together a list of some 'egg-cellant' Easter themed events happening in Brisbane this April.

RSPCA Easter Markets
For the second year running, the RSPCA will be bringing animals of all shapes and sizes to their Wacol Animal Care Campus by hosting their annual Easter Markets. With over 50 market stalls, live entertainment and heaps of kids easter activities including egg hunts, arts and crafts and even a special appearance from the Easter Bunny, this is definitely one not to be missed.
When? Sunday 2nd April, 10am-4pm

Garmin Kids Easter Egg Hunt, Seventeen Mile Rocks
Such a great way to keep kids active this Easter, renown GPS technology company Garmin are hosting the very first Garmin Kids Easter Egg Hunt with the Garmin Running Man. Not only will there be heaps of Easter treats for the kiddies to hunt down, there will also be a few vivofit JR kids activity trackers up for grabs!
When? Tuesday 4th April, 9am.

Easter Biscuit Baking, Brookside
Why not help the kids get skilled in the kitchen this Easter by taking them to a biscuit baking workshop at Brookside shopping centre? Forget the chocolate eggs, your kids will love baking their own Easter treats to take home. Booking is essential and the recommended age is 3 and up .
When? Monday 3rd April - Saturday 8th April, 10am, 11am & 12pm daily.
Where? Outside Big W, Brookside Shopping Centre, 159 Osborne Road, Mitchelton 4053



Easter Workshops, Kippa-ring
Peninsula Fair Shopping Centre will be home to some Easter themed workshops this April where kids will be able to get their craft on and create their very own Easter Baskets and Easter Bunnies. The workshop lasts for around 30 minutes and booking is required as there are limited seats available. Best of all? It's completely free of charge!
When? Tuesday 4th April - Thursday 13th April, between 10am & 1pm.
Where? Outside Kmart. Peninsula Fair Shopping Centre, 272 Anzac Avenue, Kippa-Ring 4021

Free Easter Egg Hunt, Everton Park
Easter wouldn't be the same without a classic Easter egg hunt and this year Madeleine Hicks Real Estate and Tim Mander MP have joined forces to host the ultimate Easter 'egg-travaganza'. As well as the egg hunt, there will also be heaps of other free activities on the go including face painting, blow up soccer, egg and spoon races and who could forget a visit from our long eared friend- the Easter Bunny himself!
When? Sunday 9th April, 9am-12pm.

Easter in the Olden Days, Museum of Brisbane
Take a trip back in time and show your kids how Easter used to be celebrated, old school style. As well as decorating their own Easter bonnets and eggs, kids can also participate in the treasure hunt around the museum itself, in hope of winning an Easter treat. You don't need to book for this one and this trip back to yesteryear is completely free of charge.
When? Monday 10th April - Thursday 13th April & Saturday 15th April - Monday 17th April, 10am-4pm daily.
Where? Museum of Brisbane, Brisbane City Hall, 64 Adelaide Street, Brisbane 4000.

Easter Egg Hunt and Craft, Fairfield
Perfect for primary aged children, head on over to Fairfield Library where they will be able to take part in a fun Easter egg hunt and get 'egg-tra' creative with a special Easter themed DIY craft. Bookings are not required and the activities are free of charge.
When? Tuesday 11th April, 1pm-4pm.

Little Days Out Easter Eggstravaganza, Southbank
Bazil Grumble is a creative arts company that specialises in hosting creative workshops and classes for kids of all ages and this year they've teamed up with popular children's programme, Little Days Out for an unforgettable 'Easter Eggstravaganza'! With Easter fun, games and crafts, this event will be suitable for children of all ages and is completely free of charge.
When? Thursday 13th April, 9am-1pm.

North Brisbane Easter Festival
Looking for a fun day out for all the family this Easter? Then look no further! Held at the Wests Mitchelton Football field in Gaythorne, the North Brisbane Easter Festival has something for everyone! There will be an inflatable soccer pitch, graffiti wall, face painting, live performances, easter egg hunt and loads more fun activities on the day and best of all? Entry is free of charge!
When? Friday 14th April & Saturday 15th April, 10am-9pm.
Where? Wests Mitchelton Football Field, Mitchelton Park, Gaythorne 4051

Down the Rabbit Hole Kids Easter Party
This awesome Easter scavenger hunt will take you around the Redlands with a series of Easter activities and entertainment along the way. Start at Capalaba Tavern where kids can get their face painted and decorate their very own Easter basket. Then it's on to Victoria Point for a spot of egg painting and a hunt for yummy Easter treats, then lastly on to the Redland Bay hotel where a number of Easter games will take place as well as live entertainment - including a Katy Perry tribute show. If you're going to be anywhere on Easter Saturday, make sure it's in the Redlands!
When and where? Saturday 15th April, Capalaba Tavern from 11am-1pm, Victoria Point Tavern from 1.30pm-2.30pm, Redland Bay Hotel from 3pm-late.

Easter Family Fun Day, Sirromet Winery
Sirromet Winery is renown for being host to some awesome events and their Easter Family Fun Day will be no 'egg-ception'! There'll be live entertainment, kids rides, yummy food and even eggs delivered by the Easter Bunny himself! You don't need to book and cost of entry is free. A perfect day out for all the family!
When? Sunday 16th April from 10am. Easter Bunny visit times 11.30am, 12.45pm & 2.30pm.
