School Holidays are once again upon us and two weeks can seem like a really long time! Luckily though, the weather is gorgeous outside in Brisbane at this time of year, and there are so many great activities to get involved in.
Here is our guide to some of the best school holiday activities and events that Brisbane has on offer:
Inflatable Fun Park
Happening in two exciting locations, in both Southport and Mitchelton, the Inflatable Fun Park is Australia's biggest inflatable fun playground, and is running the whole school holiday period. There will be a superman slide, zorb ball ramp, mechanical bull, a wipeout ride, obstacle course, and more.

Queensland Museum Spacecraft Workshops
Visit the Queensland Museum this school holidays, and design a spacecraft to hover above the surface of an alien world. Kids ages 5 can build and test out their creations in a flight tunnel that simulates the turbulence of a hostile planet. This is a free activity and can be combined with a day out at the museum and science centre.

Wildlife Rangers at The Workshops Rail Museum
The Workshops Rail Museum is giving kids a chance to step into the shoes of a wildlife ranger this school holidays. Go along and see some of Australia's favourite mammals, marsupials, reptiles and more. Get up close and personal in live shows and close up experiences where you can learn all about their day to day lives. This experience is free for annual pass holders, and a day pass also includes access to the new Sciencentre, train simulators and Nippers Railway playground.

Imagination Children's Festival
The City of Logan is hosting the Imagination Children's Festival this school holidays. Over sixteen days, there will be a range of free and low cost activities around the city including sport, adventure, art, culture, music, dance, entertainment, animals, nature, technology, robotics, stories, poetry and cooking. Tiddlywinks Dance and Play Cafe
Tiddlywinks is an indoor play centre with a difference. They offer indoor play equipment for ages 0-11 years, a cafe featuring healthy food, as well as daily discos where kids can dance and sing along. This school holidays there will be three discos running each day, with special guests featuring including superheroes, PJ Masks, Moana, Frozen and more. There will also be a circus and magic show on selected days.

Victoria Park Kids School Holiday Golf Activities
Victoria Park is running daily classes during the school holidays for kids who want to learn how to play golf. The kids golf clinics are for boys and girls who are looking to meet new friends, learn and develop their golfing skills and take part in competitions and challenges. Suitable for ages four to fifteen, with clinics split into groups by age and abilities.

Kids Collective at Roma Street Parklands
Kids Collective is back again, running a host of amazing free activities during the school holiday period. For kids aged 5-12 years, Roma Street Parklands will hold activities from 9am to 1pm from Thursday to Saturday. Activities range from art, sport, music and science. If you are bringing along your younger kids aged 0-5 years, then there will be activities just for them on a Thursday at Soutbank Parklands. Find the timetable of activities here

Unicorn Land at Everton Park Hotel
Discover Unicorn Land at Everton Park Hotel this school holidays. There will be unicorn rides, jumpy castles, face painting, inflatable jumbo slides, carousel rides and a petting zoo and entertainment on selected days. Plus all kids will receive a free unicorn ice cream with their kids meal and if they dress up, there are prizes to be won.

Free Activities at Major Shopping Centre
Most shopping centres in Brisbane have incredible activities happening for kids throughout the school holidays. Here is our pick of some of the best:
Indro Island at Indooroopilly is an adrenaline-packed obstacle course for kids includes climbing, crawling and throwing challenges, plus a puzzle to solve.
Skygate is holding terrarium workshops where kids will learn how to create terrariums and look after them when they get home.
