I put this one in as it is my personal favourite bakery and cafe in Brisbane. It is absolutely gorgeous and I am blown away with the quality and the utter beauty of the pastries and cakes every time I walk in.

Located a stones throw from Oriel Park at Ascot, you can pick up a stunning pastry and a coffee and then head on down to Oriel Park so your kids can have a play in the fully fenced playground and you can enjoy your treat in peace.

Vanilla Pod has cakes, catering, gourmet foods, breakfast, lunch and coffee. It is also a lovely place to meet a friend for a catch up at the sit down cafe area.
