The weather in Brisbane has been absolutely gorgeous. Warm days and cool nights, there is no better time to take advantage of this amazing weather by having fish and chips by the waterfront.

Brisbane has so many lovely spots right on its doorstep. Here are some of the best ones as recommended by you:

Set on the Sandgate foreshore, the Sandgate Fishmonger has great food with an ocean view. You can either dine in or takeaway and enjoy a seasonal salad if chips aren't your thing.

This traditional British fish and chip shop in Brisbane, will give all of our lovely British expats a taste of home. Serving cod, haddock, plaice and scampi. They even serve up pastries and pies made from British recipes such as pork pie with mushy peas and battered jumbo sausages.

Located on the esplanade at Wynnum, Finn's Fish House has both seafood and gourmet burgers. Family owned and operated, the menu is diverse, extensive and seasonal and they even serve up phenomenal coffee.

An institution in Manly, set on the bay, Barramundi Boys has been open for 15 years serving up fresh and delicious seafood and crisp wine to accompany.

This waterfront place has been family owned and family friendly for over twenty years and that is saying something. They serve seafood, burgers, salad and drinks, with beautiful views of the marina and parkland.

The quality the food at Doug's seafood cafe is phenomenal. Gorgeous views, friendly service and quality seafood, it ticks all the boxes. Including being open for breakfast.
