The best little country show in Brisbane is back in the western suburbs of Brookfield from 17 to 19 May 2024 promising all the fun of the fair.

With over a century of history and stories to tell, the Brookfield Show dates back to 1906 when it was a one-day event but soon expanded to two days in 1910. Now that tradition continues in 2024 with a three-day country meets city fair with activities and entertainment for the whole family.

Brookfield Show is set in a semi-rural, residential suburb and just some of the things to see and do include:

Art Competition including Oil, watercolour, mixed media, acrylic and drawing pieces

Cookery displays

More than 100 pure breed dogs displayed each day

Horses with Galloways, ponies, hacks, show-jumping and more

Photography competition featuring images of travel, nature, people, art and design

Horticulture

Woodwork

Entertainment

Childrens' Art

Lego competition under the theme "Imaginations of the Future"

Needlecraft and Patchwork

Poultry

Rides and sideshow alley

One of the main attractions in 2024 is a full-length circus show extravaganza by one of Cirque Du Soleil's Assistant Creative Directors and some of Queensland's best circus performers.

Tickets range from $15 (Children/Concession Single Day Pass) to $95 (Family Multi-Day Pass) and can be purchased on the show's website here .

The show is located at 550 Brookfield Road, Brookfield, 16.2 kilometres from the Brisbane Central Business District.
