Crochet For Beginners Class: Make a granny square

During the class, students will learn the basic stitches and begin creating their very own versatile Granny Square.

You can join granny squares together to create a beautiful handmade blanket or even a one-of-a-kind tea cosy.

Throughout the class, your host will go through the basic crochet stitches, such as double crochet, treble crochet, chain stitch, slip stitch, their abbreviations and how to change colours while crocheting in the round. Learning the basic stitches will allow you to practice your new crochet skills after the class.
