Adult Food in a Kid's Paradise

If you are sick of the endless menus at play centres of nuggets and chips, burgers and chips or pizzas and chips, and you are looking for somewhere that you can get delicious adult meals while still keeping the kids very happy, then the new play place Jugar is well worth a visit.

Located in trendy West End, Jugar is a kid friendly restaurant with a difference. It has the facilities that you would find in a play centre. But has been decked out in modern decor and offers up a beautiful fresh and healthy menu. The owners understand that just because we are parents, doesn't mean we don't want to be surrounded by beautiful decor in a bright and beautiful setting and be offered an adult menu.

If you need some time out from the kids over the weekend, want to enjoy a bit of adult conversation and a relaxed tour of the city, Brisbane Food Safari Club has a new experience starting in July.

The menu features a full children's menu with high end style cafe items for breakfast and lunch. I am not talking the typical bacon and eggs either. Some menu items include coconut black rice porridge, smashed avocado on rye or soda battered snapper.

The adults also have a huge breakfast and lunch menu with everything you would expect from a high end cafe or bistro, with items such as turmeric grilled chicken salad, black onyx cheese burger or wagyu New York strip loin. So as you can tell, it is a bit atypical of what you would normally find!

They also offer incredible desserts, coffee, smoothies and best of all, cocktails, wines and beers. They also do platters for events if you are thinking of holding your next special event there.

The play area is a fully fenced and clean play area that is surrounded by glass, so you can sit down to your meal while having a full view of the imagination play going on. Features of the play area include:

Climbing wall, rope tunnel and slide
Ride Ons
Cubby House with Kitchen
Reading and Drawing spaces
Baby Play Gyms
