EcoKids @ Tradecoast Central

Being, belonging and becoming.

Childhood is a time to be, to seek and make meaning of the world. Choosing the right early learning centre for your family is an important decision as children need safe, secure environments that both challenge and stimulate them.

EcoKids is a family owned and operated purpose-built centre situated in the TradeCoast Central business park. The centre provides quality Early Childhood Education for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years as well as home-cooked nutritious meals, serving the areas of Ascot, Hendra, Hamilton and Eagle Farm.

At EcoKids, their carefully balanced program provides a full day of age and developmentally appropriate activities for little ones in the nursery, as well as plenty of outdoor time to appreciate nature and the environment. Through games, art, songs and finger play, children’s literature and activities, every child grows and learns at their own pace.

EcoKids recognise that this age group needs to be encouraged to develop to the best of their abilities through a variety of play experiences. This environment allows children to feel safe, secure and able to express themselves freely through various pathways such as communication, art & craft, activity choice and group times.

As this age group is preparing for prep years school, this room incorporates the Queensland Approved Kindergarten Program. Children have the opportunity to explore their natural world through science and a supported sustainability program which includes a worm farm, compost bins and vegetable garden. The writing area provides an opportunity for individuals to build upon their fine motor skills through writing and literacy and early mathematics worksheets.
