Perfect activities in Brisbane to get the whole family moving and keep active
It may be a bit of a cliche, but New Years will always be a great motivator to set health and fitness goals and start the year with a positive attitude.
Exercising and getting your body moving as a family is a wonderful way to set a positive example for your kids, its great for bonding and its also a load of fun! Brisbane is a city perfectly designed to be outside because of its great climate and beautiful environment.

Get out onto the water and learn a new sport as a whole family. Even if you are uncoordinated, you will give your belly a workout while laughing. Even in the bay, there are companies like Surf Connect at Sandgate who teach wind and kite surfing, stand up paddle boarding and wakeboarding. Rollerskating or Ice Skating
If it raining outside but you still have kids with excess energy to burn, why not strap on some skates and head to your nearest rollerskating or ice skating centre? There are some fabulous ones to choose from in Brisbane. Places like Ice World at Boondall or Acacia Ridge.
Trapeze and Circus Arts
Fly through the air with the greatest of ease with these flying trapeze classes. These lessons at Circus Arts are suitable for all abilities and are sure to be fun as the whole family learns to swing and fly and even complete some tricks.
