Easter is just around the corner. The Easter Bunny is getting his basket of eggs ready. The Easter decorations at the shopping centre finally make sense. I am already preparing myself for all the chocolate I am about to eat.
Chocolate aside, Easter means a lot of different things to different people. And there are plenty of events being held for Easter in Brisbane this year.
The North Brisbane Easter Festival is back again for another year of family friend fun. Featuring an easter egg hunt, inflatables, food trucks, photo booth, chai tent, graffiti wall, petting zoo, face painting, crafts, live music, games, competitions and more. All age groups will find something for them at this annual event.
Best of all? Its free! Just come along with your family members in tow and a great big smile on your face, ready for some memory making.

None of these events take your fancy? Why not plan something of your own!
For my group of friends who all have kids, we are putting together an Easter Bunny Picnic. Similar to a Teddy Bear Picnic, all the kids will bring along a bunny, and we will have our own easter egg hunt and bring along a plate each to share.
