by Sally Foster (follow)
Head out for fresh air in our beautiful city

Brisbane is undoubtedly a beautiful city and we are lucky enough to experience the most incredible Winters, with cold nights but sunny and cool days.

Whether your family likes to walk, bike, run or push a pram, these are some beautiful walks in Brisbane that you can experience next time you feel like some fresh air and exercise in the great outdoors with the whole family.

You and your family are invited to a Photography for Parents Workshop on Sunday 28th April at New Farm Park.

Clontarf to Redcliffe

Park the car at Pelican Park at Clontarf and take a stroll, or a really big walk, along the seaside and take in the bay breezes. It is a 13km path so you don't have to do the whole thing but is perfect for all modes of vehicle including legs.

The Brisbane Riverwalk will give you some river and city views. It is a water highway for both pedestrians and cyclists between New Farm to the Howard St Wharves and on to the Brisbane CBD. At 870m long and with lots to see both sides of the walk, it is perfect for kids.

This south side walk is an easy bush walk for all ages and is part of the Brisbane Koala Bushland. It is a 1.4km walking track with lots of opportunities for spotting native wildlife.

Wynnum to Manly Esplanade

This seafront walk takes in gorgeous views and you can walk or ride along 10km of path. You can start the walk along Waterloo Esplanade facing Oyster Point and there are lots of beautiful points of interest along the way including a water park and wading pool in the summer months and playgrounds for the little ones.
