Free Easter Holiday Activities with Ginger Sport

Saturday 1st of April to Thursday 13th of April
by Sophie Cannon (follow)
It's so important to keep kids not only occupied, but also active during school holidays, so that's why Brisbane based soccer school, Ginger Sport, have put together an awesome Easter holiday program for children of all ages. And the best bit? All of their activities are completely FREE!

Thats right! From Saturday 1st April until Thursday 13th April, Ginger Sport will host a series of fun, soccer based workshops to get Brisbane kids out and about this Easter.

WHO?
Ginger Sport began in 2009 with just a bag full of soccer balls, a handful of sport loving kids and a passion for creating a fun, inclusive and play based learning environment for all ages.

You and your family are invited to a Photography for Parents Workshop on Sunday 28th April at New Farm Park.
The Brisbane Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Brisbane mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
They now coach thousands of kids at hundreds of venues across South East Queensland, have over 40 coaching staff on board and with a number of classes and services available-they're bigger and better than ever.

WHAT?
Here's a taster of some of the activities on offer during the Easter holidays:

Free Match Days
Committing to club soccer can be a real drain on your weekends, not to mention your budget. Ginger Sport's 'Match Day' is a great alternative. Kids don’t need any experience, and you don’t have to fork out several hundred bucks to play all season. Your soccer-mad little one will enjoy a real match-day experience, with warm ups, team selection, halves, breaks, and a full-time team talk.

Krank Program
Develop your child’s ball skills in a fun and safe environment during the school holidays for absolutely no cost at all. Woo-hoo!

Sprouts in the Park
Join JoJo at Roma St Parkland during the Easter school holidays for some FREE soccer fun featuring awesome inflatable soccer pitches!

Ginger Sport/Boppin’ Babies Free Soccer & Music Event
Ginger Sport are teaming up with their friends at Boppin’ Babies to bring you free soccer during the Easter school holidays! Rock and bop with live music while enjoying great soccer activities!

Brisbane City Chill Out Program
It’s time to CHILL OUT and play ball during the Easter school holidays with Brisbane City Council’s Chill Out Program!

GOOD TO KNOW
There are different workshops to suit children of different ages so don't forget to check this out before attending. Some activities require registration and although the holiday program is free of charge, Ginger Sport would appreciate if you could bring along a gold coin donation on the day.

For more information on activities, locations and timetables, head on over to the Ginger Sports website.
