Free School Holiday Workshops at Mt Gravatt Plaza

So Christmas and New year is officially out of the way however we've still got two weeks left of the summer holidays! After all of the hustle and bustle of the festive period it can be hard to think of things to do to keep the kids occupied. That's why when we heard that free school holiday workshops were being held at Mt Gravatt Plaza, we just had to let you know!

Mt Gravatt Plaza are well known for their family focused events which is why over the next 10 days they will be working hard to keep your kids both entertained and educated by holding a number of free classes in the centre.

Free Holiday Dance Classes with Radiance Dance Academy Australia

Do you need an updated family portrait?
Radiance Dance Academy is a Brisbane based dance school offering a range of classes to students of all skill levels. They specialise in a large number of different dance styles and believe that the art of movement can help in all aspects of life.

The academy will be offering the following dance classes over the space of three days:

12th January 2017 - Jazz Class
Age 2-4 years - 10:15am
Ages 5 and up- 11am & 11:45am

13th January 2017 - Hip Hop
Age 2-4 years - 10:15am
Ages 5 and up - 11am & 11:45am

Age 2-4 years - 10:15am
Ages 5 and up - 11am & 11:45am

As well as the classes themselves, there will also be a live performance by the academy dancers at 10am each day- definitely a show not to be missed!

Free Kids Cooking Classes - Learn How to Make Healthy Bliss Balls!

There's nothing better or more rewarding then getting your kids cooking up a storm in the kitchen- especially when they're making something both tasty and healthy. Join memorable characters Emma the Health Geek and Rory the Whole Food Dude as they teach your kids to make their healthy, tasty, chocolate and coconut bliss balls- which are full of yummy goodness!

Classes will take place from Monday 16th January to Saturday 21st January at 10am, 11am and 12pm.

Classes will be happening outside of Coles supermarket. Recommended for children aged 4 and up. Bookings are required, click here for further information and to book tickets.

This is a free family event and although tickets need to be booked, there will be no costs involved.
In 2017, Brisbane Powerhouse has brought together talented local performers for a unique carnival of comedy, burlesque, circus, music, theatre and more.
