There is a place where time stands still. There is a place where green pastures fall away to purple sunsets and gorgeous views. Yes, this is the Olivia Newton-John Health Retreat you probably heard about. It is a mix of perfect accommodation, perfect food, and perfect health. Perhaps you have a birthday coming up or are placing your Christmas order early with the family. It is not cheap and so is not the place for a run-of-the-mill experience. If you are lucky enough to go, it will be something that will stay with you for life and something that should mark a special milestone in your life. That milestone might even be a celebration of your efforts as a mum.


Originally founded in 2005 by Gregg Cave, Ruth Kalnin, Olivia Newton-John, and Warwick Evans (affectionately known as G.R.O.W.), Gaia Retreat & Spa has become one of Australia’s most awarded and globally renowned wellness retreats. Located at 933 Fernleigh Rd, Brooklet NSW 2479, doesn't Brooklet sound like something from a fairytale? It just couldn't be located more appropriately. The Retreat is on 20 acres of stunning land and tucked away in an area that whispers "This is all about you". As I drove up the driveway I couldn't fathom the beauty and the stillness I was witnessing. Instantly I knew why Olivia wanted this place as her haven. Instantly I knew that this was a place where I could finally silence my ever-busy mind.

The Revive two-night package is approximately $2,300 so definitely not an investment to be underestimated. However, if this is an investment you can muster, I am certain it is money you will not regret. Of course, with the cost of living pressures biting at every family, I don't want to sound dismissive of the size of this investment. I am simply advocating that for those who can afford it, it really is a one-in-a-million location.

All mums deserve a little spoiling. My wish for you is that one day you get to be spoilt at Gaia.
