Tucked away off Shand Street in Enoggera is this great all-ages adventure park.

The huge wooden fortress at Grinstead Park
The playground includes various play equipment, however the best feature has to be the enormous wooden fortress. It's huge, and has lots of 'spaces' for little people to explore. There are two slides to descend from - one a regular "toddler-friendly" slide, and another tube slide suitable for bigger kids.
Although the park is great for slightly older children, if you do have toddlers or crawlers in tow then there is a brightly coloured play cafe and shop that they are sure to love. Another benefit of Grinstead is that not only is the playground based on either soft fall flooring or wood chips (perfect for little knees!) but the fort is almost entirely shaded.

The Play cafe
Once the kids have got their fill of the playground, there are lots of smooth pathways within the park, perfect for scooters and bikes.
If you venture over the bridge you can walk (or scoot) right down to Kedron Brook and there's a lovely little sandy spot where you can check out the ducks and other water birds that usually reside there.
