If you are looking for a playground that is suitable for different age groups, then Harold Kielly Park in Bald Hills is perfect.
Located next to the Bald Hills Scout Group, this playground has a pirate theme and features three different pirate ships of varying sizes. The biggest pirate ship has a ramp, tunnel slide and climbing bridges and is great for children aged 3 years and over.
There is then a medium sized pirate ship and a small pirate ship for the youngest explorers in your family. Each ship has different sized climbing ramps, slides and features.
The playground also features:
This playground is very picturesque as it is located next to a large pond that is brimming with birdlife. My son loved watching the ducks and the turtles poke their heads up. It is not fully fenced away from the playground though, so if you have younger children that like to explore, you have to be mindful they don't take a dip!
The playground is partially shaded by trees and has a bark bottom. It is only partially fenced but has plenty of green space between the playground and the road.
Location: 508 Bracken Ridge Road, Bald Hills
Parking: Plenty of street parking
