ImagiNation Children's Festival

Saturday 16th of September to Sunday 1st of October
by Southside Fun Mum (follow)
Interested in free or low-cost activities for the September holidays? I highly recommend the City of Logan's ImagiNation Children's Festival. 16 days of fun-filled activities for the family starting with the official launch on Monday 18th September from 10:00am-2:00pm at Mayes Cottage.

So what can you expect to see over the two week period? Here's a quick snapshot of a few of the activities available:
Workshops a plenty! Music, dancing, language, arts and craft, robotics, circus, print making and loads more to choose from.
'Lah Lah Sing it Out Loud' concert
Dirty Dinosaurs mud play
picnics
go karting
chocolate tours
nature trails
scavenger hunt
obstacle courses
river rowing

We attended the ImagiNation open day last year and it was the first time we were introduced to Sparky Do Dah, an awesome kids entertainer who encourages children to get active and play outdoors. At the launch day, they also had crafts, balloons and a sausage sizzle.

Useful Info:
What? A fun filled children's festival offering up 16 days of awesome, low cost activities for those aged 0-12 years.
Where? The ImagiNation Children's Festival launch takes place at: Mayes Cottage, 20 Mawarra St, Kingston 4114. Activities will take place at various locations.
