Mini Mates Miniature Horse and Pony Farm, Burbank

Giddy Up! Take your little one for a horse or pony ride to spark their joy

Located in Brisbane's south east suburb of Burbank, Mini Mates Miniature Horse and Pony Farm first started out as a location for breeding small ponies and miniature horses, but has since become the ultimate "farm life" activity for children aged between 2-10 years.

Pony Rides
Every Saturday and Sunday, kids can enjoy a 30 minute pony ride (with adult supervision), around the outdoor yard, and the best thing about Mini Mates is that, due to the size of the ponies, beginners or slightly nervous children will usually be put straight at ease.

Once your brood are all galloped out, they can then enjoy some time "farmer style" in the barn, learning to take care of their new found friends.

Pony Rides

Pony rides start at 8:30am, lasting for half an hour and are then followed by 30 minutes one on one time in the barn, until closure at 9:30am. There is no booking necessary for weekend sessions and the cost is $20 per child.

Do you want to learn how to knit? Or have recently started and would like to meet some new friends to share your creativity with, all while having a good chat? The Brisbane Knitting Club has classes starting in January 2019.
With newly renovated indoor and outdoor environments, Guardian Early Learning Taringa invites you to come and tour their new centre, located at 32 Morrow Street, Taringa, Qld, 4068.
School Holidays
During the school holidays, not only are pony rides available, but the centre also invites children to spend half a day at the farm learning exactly what would be needed to take care of their very own horse or pony, including helping to brush, groom and feed their miniature pals.

Kids can learn how to care for the animals correctly

School holiday visits tend to be extremely popular so booking is necessary. There is a large sheltered eating area within the farm, so feel free to bring along a picnic or a snack to enjoy whilst you're there.

Birthday Parties
Struggling to plan the perfect birthday party for your child this year? The hugely popular Mini Mates birthday parties consist of led pony rides, brushing, grooming and feeding the miniature horses and ponies.

Mini Mates invites all children from the ages 2-10
