The gorgeous [Link https://www.visitbrisbane.com.au/brisbane/things-to-do/nature-and-wildlife/parks-and-gardens/new-farm-park?sc_lang=en-au ] is a favourite for families all across Brisbane. The picturesque location makes a fabulous backdrop for family photos, especially during the Springtime when the Jacaranda trees are blooming with vibrant purple flowers.
is the perfect place for a mothers group meet up due to its central proximity. There is access via city cat, bus or car, with ample parking available.
There is enough space for everyone, and a couple of cute cafes to pick up a coffee before laying down a picnic rug either by the river, rose garden or near the playground.

The playground is gorgeous, with the equipment being interwoven around big fig trees, so a game of peek a boo or adventurer is great fun. There is play equipment suitable for all ages and it is a big enough playground that even though it is immensely popular, it doesn't feel too crowded. It is always busy on the weekend, but much quieter during the week.
If you have bigger kids, there is plenty of wide open green spaces to fly a kite or kick a ball. There are also walking and bike paths by the river.
If you are looking for a place to hold a party, is great.
