If there is anything that pregnancy and then caring for a newborn has taught me, it is that your body gets very sore. There is nothing better than a good stretch, and if you can increase your flexibility, build strength, bond with your baby and take a moment to relax as well, all the better.
Viroga Yoga Studio in Brighton offers both prenatal and postnatal yoga for Mums who need a break and take some time for self care.
You and your family are invited to a Photography for Parents Workshop on Sunday 28th April at New Farm Park.
The pregnancy yoga classes are held on a Wednesday evening and are designed to support women who are 14 weeks pregnant or more. No previous yoga experience is required as the focus of the classes is preparing for birth by participating in pregnancy friendly yoga practices.
The postnatal yoga course is a four week course for both Mums and their babies that involves stretching, strengthening and socialising with other Mums from the area. It is a good chance to bond with your baby and get a good stretch in.
Pamela, the yoga instructor, is warm and friendly and will support you along the way and make you feel welcome and comfortable in the studio. It is definitely a 'zen' place to go and you will leave feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. Or night.
