My partner and I welcomed our first baby in the middle of this year. We weren't going to start trying for our second until mid next year. However, after much discussion, we were contemplating starting to try in January 2020 (at which point, our child will be just over 6 months old). Personally, I would rather get the second (and final) pregnancy over and done with (it sounds awful, but I had quite a difficult and traumatic pregnancy the first time). We also like the idea of our two children being close together in age, and getting the nappy stage' (etc.) done all together, and not having get out of it, only to go back there again (does that make sense?). Those who have two kids close in age (within 18-24mths of each other), I'd love your feedback about the pros and cons - what do you love and hate about the closeness in age? Anything you'd change? Any good hints or tips (besides 🍷 haha!)? Thanks so much.
