Snow for Kids in Brisbane

by Sally Foster (follow)
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. In Brisbane!

This school holidays, why not treat your children to some real snow? Because as gorgeous as Brisbane is in the wintertime, a winter wonderland it is not! And there is nothing cuter than a small human in a teeny tiny parker.

Located at the South Bank Piazza in the South Bank Parklands, Snow4Kids is in its sixth year and promises to be bigger and better than ever. With tobogganing, snowball throwing, a snow mountain, general snow play and Snowman making, it sounds like a kids paradise.

The Brisbane Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Brisbane mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!

For information on how to get to the venue, including parking, see here. There is also some frequently asked questions.

If you are feeling cold after all the snow and ice, why not head to Max Brenner at South Bank after your play. All the tobogganing can make you cold and stir your appetite. A chocolate and dessert bar, at Max Brenner you can have one of their signature hot chocolates either in white, dark or regular chocolate. Whichever you like best.
