Get ready for a kaleidoscopic adventure with, making its Queensland debut for those pint-sized explorers aged 4 to 8, and their not-so-little companions. Once you stroll in, you'll be handed these nifty colour-changing lanterns, perfect for revealing quirky images and symbols just waiting to be discovered. Think of it as an Indiana Jones-style expedition, only with more glitter and possibly fewer traps. Your friendly guide will lead you through a series of interactive zones, where you'll stumble upon mysterious animal tracks and get acquainted with critters from the past, present, and even the future — because who doesn't want to meet a dinosaur with a penchant for time travel?

But hold onto your hats, because things are about to get even wilder. You'll be tasked with creating your very own mythical creatures, giving them a voice with some funky sounds and unleashing a dazzling light show. And just when you thought it couldn't get any cooler, you'll get to project their enchanting shadows onto a magical glow wall. Superluminal is all about sparking those curious little minds and marveling at the wonders of nature, all while poking fun at the quirky ways time has shaped the world around us. So grab your lanterns and get ready for some mind-bending fun at the Queensland Museum, March 28-30.
