There is nothing better than discovering a new park for your children to run about in, especially when it boasts activities to keep the youngest and eldest happy for hours.
Teralba Park does just this, and is located in Brisbane's northern suburb of Everton Park. It is home to sprawling grounds covered in plenty of shady trees, gazebos and barbecues, making it perfect for your next event.
The Brisbane Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Brisbane mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
The playground itself has been recently renovated and promotes imaginative play. Kids can set up their own cafe or pet shop, or get lost in the magnificent maze which leads to a large sandpit. Exploring the landscape they will find stepping stones to follow, dots to jump between and kaleidoscope type patterns to view.

The park has a large section which is rubber based making it perfect for those young crawlers in the family. There is plenty of sensory play to get involved with different textures, sounds and shapes to explore.
For the bigger kids, there is a traditional climbing fort and basketball courts. We also enjoyed the novelty of the permanent table tennis tables offered at a Teralba Park, just pack your own racquet and balls.
Perfect for a birthday party, Mum's group meet up or just a morning out, Teralba Park is well worth a visit.
