The Lighting of the Brisbane Christmas Tree 2016

A magical Brisbane tradition is set to take place on Friday 25th November, the annual lighting of the Brisbane Christmas Tree is an event loved by many and always sure to draw in a large crowd.

This year the event is being present by St George Bank and is one not to be missed. Gather with family and friends in King George Square on Friday and celebrate the start of the festive season with Christmas carols and free entertainment from 5.30pm.

When the sun has set, Lord Mayor Graham Quirk, in addition to a number of special guests will flick the switch and officially light the tree at 6.30pm.

You and your family are invited to a Photography for Parents Workshop on Sunday 28th April at New Farm Park.

Where? King George Square, Brisbane
Cost? Event is free of charge and well worth the visit for any Brisbane family.
