A list of upcoming live events in Brisbane 2018 that the whole family can enjoy
I am secretly a big kid at heart. Having a toddler is really handy, as it lets me experience life through the eyes of a child again. And nothing is more magical than seeing some of our favourite characters come to life on stage.
Brisbane is set for some amazing live events in 2018. Here are just some that your whole family will enjoy.
I have it on good authority, that Paw Patrol is 'awesome' and extremely popular with the kiddies. My three year old nephew speaks about Paw Patrol with the same enthusiasm that I used to speak of Santa Claus. So it must be great.
This live theatre show is about the Great Pirate Adventure in Adventure Bay. The characters will be brought to life as full costume puppets and live actors. The audience is encouraged to participate by singing along, clapping and dancing.
The Asian Street Food tour of Brisbane will introduce you to a variety of delicious Asian food, including Chinese, Malaysian, Thai, Vietnamese and Filipino.

I have the best memories of going to Disney on Ice as a little girl with my Mum. This year, the ice is going to be filled with some familiar faces, including Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and an ensemble of Disney Princesses.
The Frozen phenomenon will also continue with a very special visit from Elsa and Anna and a Disney performance would not be complete without hearing 'Let it Go' for the five billionth time.

The magical stage show of Alice in Wonderland includes actors, puppeteers and lavish costumes and sets. It features the adventures of Alice, along with all her friends, the White Rabbit, The Queen of Hearts of course, the Mad Hatter. It is an adaptation of the classic storybook.

The Workshops Rail Museum is hosting a Day out with Thomas the Tank Engine. Even at only 16 months old, my son is sure to go into fits of delight over this event.
This event lets children 'meet' their favourite characters, including Thomas and the Fat Controller. The day features craft, story time, a performance, play pit, a model railway and a Thomas movie. There is also going to be a bouncing castle, indoor adventure playground and a miniature train ride around the museum grounds.

This hugely popular stage play is coming back and is set to be just as entertaining for both children and adults alike. An adaptation from a children's book, the 78-storey treehouse just keeps growing!
