A bookshop dedicated to children with free storytelling
Although it has become so easy to buy our books online these days with huge online stores like Amazon, Book Depositary and Booktopia, there is still something really special about visiting a physical bookshop and browsing the shelves.
[Link https://wherethewildthingsare.com.au/ Where The Wild Things Are] is a bookshop dedicated to children based in West End. Named after the popular children's story, they sell products all the way from board books for newborns, to popular fiction for young adults.

The decor is bright and colourful, with different areas created that beckon you to curl up with a book and share a story. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly, with fifty years of collective experience. The whole experience will get your child excited about reading and using their brilliant imaginations.
If your little one is looking for a bookclub, Where the Wild Things are have a number of different ones to get involved in. They range from ages 7-14 years and there is even one for adults that enjoy reading young adult novels.
Another wonderful initiative of this shop is the storytime sessions that run every Monday and Friday at 10am. There is a new theme each week and a themed craft activity follows the session.
This bookshop is a favourite with authors who frequently do readings and hold events at the store. You can find out about upcoming events, including storytime, author visits and bookclubs [Link https://wherethewildthingsare.com.au/events here].
