White Ridge Farm, Caboolture

by Sophie Cannon (follow)
"Old Macdonald had a farm...Ei Ei Oh!"

We've all visited some of the awesome zoo's and wildlife parks on offer in Brisbane, but if you're looking for something a little different on your next animal encounter, then why not take a trip to White Ridge Farm for the ultimate farm life experience!

WHAT?
White Ridge Farm is the perfect day trip out for all members of the family. Owner's David and Katrina Wright decided to open up their family run farm to the public in order to "allow people young and old to have a small taste of what farm life is all about", and that is exactly what they have done!

The farm itself originally only started with a few chickens and a goat but over the years has increased in size and is now home to a vast range of all of our favourite farmyard animals as well as some we may not be so familiar with.

WHY?
At White Ridge Farm, not only will children be able to walk around the farm and view the animals, they will also be able to pet them, hand feed them and even have a go at playing farmer and milking a cow!

Some of the residents on the farm include pigs, goats, llamas, alpacas, horses, sheep, chickens, ducks and even a friendly camel who loves to be hand fed.

Travel around the farm in style with an authentic hay ride, bring along a picnic to enjoy and once all of the farm fun is out of the way, kids can go wild on the onsite adventure playground and trampoline whilst parents take in the surroundings.
