The beloved music of Australia’s iconic supergroup, The Seekers, explodes onto the stage in the Queensland Premiere of Georgy Girl The Seekers Musical - a powerful celebration of harmony, hope, and one of the greatest voices of all time: Judith Durham.

Feel the thrill of their biggest hits performed live, including "I’ll Never Find Another You," "A World of Our Own," "The Carnival Is Over," and of course "Georgy Girl." This acclaimed musical brings to life the extraordinary true story of four young Australians who dared to dream big and took the world by storm.

At the heart of the story is Judith, the shy, insecure teenager with a golden voice, who joins a folk group: The Seekers - Athol Guy, the wheeler-dealer; Bruce Woodley, the aspiring songwriter; and Keith Potger, the cool guitarist.

After finding success locally, they travel to Britain, where, thanks to Athol’s sharp marketing skills, they get a crucial foot in the door and, despite early knockbacks, soon burst onto the international pop scene. Judith, unprepared for sudden stardom, struggles with weight issues, with finding love, and with deciding what her future should be.

The boys revel in the ride, enjoying the party while musically delivering the goods.

There’s laughter and tears, highs and lows.

Their breakthrough came with "I'll Never Find Another You," which topped the UK charts in 1965. Other hits followed, including "A World of Our Own," " The Carnival Is Over," and "Georgy Girl," the latter becoming a worldwide smash and earning an Academy Award nomination. At their peak, they even outsold The Beatles and The Rolling Stones in the UK, and their 1967 homecoming concert in Melbourne drew a record crowd of over 200,000.

This must-see Queensland premiere production unites a powerhouse local cast - including Kiana Tann, Geoffrey Winter, Kristian Scott, Simon Chamberlain and Liam Waldock - and an exceptional creative team to honour the music that shaped a nation.
