Back by popular demand, the RQAS Workshop Festival is returning this March! Across the entire month, enjoy a diverse range of workshops covering acrylics, oils, drawing, and much more. With options for every skill level - and dedicated sessions for children, teenagers, and adults - there truly is something for everyone to enjoy.

To launch the festival, RQAS will hold an Open Day on Saturday, 7th March, from 10am to 12pm, and all are welcome to attend

This FREE event offers attendees the opportunity to mingle, meet tutors and other artists, and learn more about local art groups, as well as the workshops included in the RQAS Workshop Festival.

There will also be morning tea (coffee, tea, and cake) available for purchase on the day.

In the afternoon following the Workshop Festival, RQAS will host the Young Artist Award presentation. Attendees who would like to stay and be part of this second event can purchase tickets via Humanitix through the RQAS website.

• K-Art Fusion: Painting Derpy the Tiger from K-Pop Demon Hunters - Children's Workshop
• Oil Painting Portraiture Workshop with Dylan Jones



Friday, 20th of March:
• Custom Bag Charm and Earrings Making with Kimi Schieren[ - evening workshop



Saturday, 21st of March:
• Marvellous Mugs: Creating in Clay & Surface Decoration with Carys Martin - Held offsite at Cleveland

Sunday, 22nd of March:
ART TALKS event

Wednesday, 25th of March:
• Tutored Life Drawing with Scott Breton - evening workshop

Saturday, 28th of March:
• Everyday Nature Sketchbook with Deb Mostert
• Abstracting the Landscape with Clare Purser

Held at both Petrie Terrace Gallery and at off-site locations, this is the time to try something new and see what Brisbane tutors have to offer.
