Is there anything more adorable than watching your little ones trying something active and new while wearing a teeny tiny jersey? You can stand on the side lines cheering and waving and beaming with pride. This is it, your little one is growing up.
Brisbane has so many different sports and active programs happening every day. Soccer is a great game to start your toddlers sporting life and give them a chance to become healthy and active kids early on. Plus it is a 'goal' lot of fun.
Here is a list of some soccer classes available just for the toddlers.
1. Little Kickers
Little Kickers is a pre school soccer program that focusses on fun first and play not push. Their aim is to deliver a high quality soccer program where your child can learn the skills of the game, combined with other important skills like colour and number recognition, sharing, following instructions and using imagination.
There are four different classes starting with
Little Kicks, which is aimed at toddlers aged 18 month to 2 years. In this class, parent participation is required in a play-oriented yet structured format. The next class up is
Junior Kickers for children aged 2 to 3.5 years.

2. Grasshopper Soccer
With over 20 years of experience, Grasshopper Soccer's goal is to teach your kids to have fun playing soccer while also developing skills in a fun and safe environment. Programs starts at aged 2 and goes up to 12 years, where the foundation of how to play is set and then built on over time. It is non competitive and all about the relationships with team mates and learning a healthy lifestyle.
The program for toddlers called
Mites, is for aged 2-3 years and encourages the development of your child's motor skills, balance and coordination. Parents are actively involved.

3. Ginger Sport
Ginger Sports provides a fun, inclusive, and play-based learning environment for your little ones to learn soccer skills. They believe that soccer is a great sport for little kids to start out with, because it works on their gross motor skills. As well as the physical benefits and learning about working as part of a team and problem solving.
Toddlers can start a weekly program starting at age 18 months. You can start with a free trial and see if it is right for your family. They also do soccer bounce, childcare and birthday party programs and a range of other fun
programs.

4. Ready Steady Go Kids
If you aren't sure if soccer is going to be your toddlers game, Ready Steady Go Kids could be a great option. This multi sport program offers classes from age 1.5 years, with a program designed to build confidence and self-esteem, while allowing your little one to try out a range of different sports.
They teach 5 different sports over a term with a small class size that is indoors. The
Get Ready group is the beginner group of 30 minute classes that offers a combination of structured group activities and free exploration. They can then move onto
Ready Group at 2.5 years.
