Tucked away in the stunning Daisy Hill Conservation Park, this little slice of paradise is as Australian as a kangaroo at a barbecue. As you stroll in on the ramped boardwalk, prepare for a face-off with some very cute koalas hanging out in their spacious outdoor enclosure. Once you've had your fill of koala spotting, venture inside to dive deep into the world of these iconic marsupials. There are heaps of interactive displays that'll teach you more about koalas than you ever thought possible. And for the little ones, there's a play area that transforms them into wildlife carers or vets—because what child wouldn't want to pretend to save a koala? Bring along a picnic to munch on while soaking in the natural beauty surrounding you. If you time it right, you can catch the koala feeding at 1.30 pm, just before a guided presentation at 2 pm.
