Have fun and explore your creative side

[Link https://www.corkandchroma.com.au/ ] is a paint and sip studio, with locations in both West End and Southbank, that will give you a chance to explore your creative side. It has a relaxed social setting, and is perfect for a Mother's group meet up with a difference.

At a session, you will learn the basic techniques of painting with acrylics on canvas. You will be lead by a talented artist who will show you step by step. You don't need to be a talented artist yourself though! It is all about having fun and trying something new. You can even take your art home with you to showcase on your wall as a memory of your time.





You have a few options with sessions. You can book a private session with a group of friends, or go along to one of the public sessions. There are sessions both day and night, so you can find one to suit you. They are also BYO, so be sure to bring a bottle of wine to sip while you paint.

If you have a baby in tow, the Mummart sessions are wonderful. They are $25 and you can bring along your little sidekick. My friend has done one with her baby in the carrier! He loved watching his Mum get creative and giggle along to her painting. They are a three hour session where you can come and go as you please, so you can relax and tend to your baby when needed. They are not suitable for toddlers though, best for babies in carriers, prams or on a playmat. A toddler loose in a paint studio could be a bit dangerous!
