The ancient creatures in the age of dinosaurs will be taking over the Nicholas Street Precinct in Ipswich in Dinosaur Discovery this school holidays.



Kids can take a step back about 245 million years ago when dinosaurs ruled the planet. The giants of the Mesozoic era have landed in Ipswich for a family-friendly event.

Discover these ancient animals with interactive dinosaur displays, face painting, photo opportunities and markets from 22 September to 4 October, between 10 am to 2 pm daily.



As well, join in the entertainment of a live stage show with the Dinosaur Train characters from the PBS (US Public Broadcasting Service television show from 24 to 30 September, between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm.

Follow the dinosaur footprint trail and discover themed goodies and menu items at some of the participating retailers in the precinct.



You can catch all the action at the Nicholas Street Precinct, described as a hub for culture, art, marketplace, food, dining and events. The precinct is situated 31 kilometres from Brisbane.
