A Message from the Storyteller:

They say there's a place under the roots of the oldest tree in the forest - a world carved by courage, lit by glowing crystals, and filled with creatures that no human has ever seen.

And the bravest of these creatures (arguably) is a small, adventurous, rule-breaking explorer called Chie ... a Cherayroo!



Deep beneath the forest floor lies The Hollowing - a secret underground realm of winding tunnels, caves, caverns, and rivers.

How might you get there? I hear you ask ... through the hollow in the Whisperoot tree, naturally.
This isn’t a place you find on a map. It’s a place you feel - when you leap over a log, climb the tallest tree, or wonder what's beneath your feet.

The Hollowing teems with strange creatures, underground plants that glow in the dark, and is connected to tree spirits in the ancient forest that still whisper forgotten stories.

The Cherayroos are small - but not shy.

They're furry, wide-eyed creatures with no mouth and a trumpet-like nose, who swing on root-vines, race beetles, and explore caves no one else dares to enter.

Cherayroo Stories follow Chie, the boldest Cherayroo of all - part explorer, part inventor, and full-time rule-bender.

Chie doesn't just ask "Why?" - he asks "Why not?"

And when something seems too wild, too weird, or too impossible?

That's when Chie gets excited.



I created The Cherayroos for kids like mine - kids who climb higher than they’re told, build rockets from boxes, and ask real questions like: "Do trees dream?" or "Can I live underground with worms?"

As a storyteller. I believe imagination is one of the most powerful forces on Earth.

As a parent and educator, I believe our kids need more wild joy, more real nature, and fewer glowing screens.

And as a worldbuilder, I believe every child deserves to discover a secret world that feels like it was made just for them.
