You are invited to an exciting exhibition by talented artists Christine Groh and Lucy Ward this summer.

Held at the Richard Randall Art Studio, a heritage-listed venue in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, from 12 February to 15 February, this four-day exhibition is FREE to attend and all are welcome.

The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 4 pm daily, and visitors will be treated to a wonderful showcase of stunning acrylic and watercolour paintings, mixed media and linocut prints by Christine and Lucy.



Christine is a member of the Royal Queensland Art Society, Half Dozen Group of Artists and Clifton Hill Art Group. She has received awards for her work and regularly exhibits at the Royal Queensland Art Society, as well as participating in several "by-selection-only" and other short exhibitions in and around Brisbane.

Christine works with strong colours in her paintings, using watercolour, acrylic, and mixed media in a style that she says has been influenced by the works of Chagall, Hundertwasser, and Queensland’s Rex Backhaus-Smith. Christine regularly sells her work both locally and overseas, including to private collectors in New Zealand, the UK, the USA, and Germany.



Lucy has exhibited in the Brisbane area for many years, in both joint and solo exhibitions, and her paintings are held by many private collectors in Australia and North America. In 2015, she had five of her paintings displayed in New York as part of an international cultural exchange. Lucy’s paintings are mainly oils, depicting still life, interiors, and portraits. She has also produced high-quality prints of some of her past works.

The displayed works will be available for sale, with a range of styles, sizes, and prices to suit all interests and budgets.

The Richard Randall Art Studio is located in the Bamboo Grove at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mount Coot-tha. Enjoy the stunning gardens in vibrant summer shades, then head to the exhibition and pick up some delightful art to display in your home or to gift to loved ones!
