Set on the edge of Moreton Bay, Movies Under the Stars invites you to enjoy your favourite films in the open air at Brisbane’s beautiful bayside suburb of Manly.

The film will be rolling at this FREE, family-friendly outdoor cinema in Little Bayside Park on the first Saturday of every month (excluding January).

During summer, movies kick off at 7pm, with winter sessions starting at 6pm, just after sunset. Australia’s family favourite film, the 1995 Chris Noonan classic Babe , will be screening on Saturday, 7 February 2026. Starring comedian Magda Szubanski, this much-loved film tells the heart-warming story of a gentle farm pig who dreams of doing the work of a sheepdog.

Bring a cosy blanket, pack a picnic or visit one of the nearby local eateries, then relax as the story unfolds. Before the film begins, kids can enjoy some playtime on the grassy parklands.

The Movies in the Parkevent is free and welcomes everyone to join in the fun. For more information, you can visit the Manly Harbour Village website. You can find Little Bayside Park along the Esplanade at Manly and it is the closest green space to Manly Harbour Village's main street, Cambridge Parade, and is the location of the community's weekly markets. Manly is 21 kilometres from the Brisbane Central Business District.
