FREE Halloween fun for little monsters will come to Brookside Shopping Centre on 30 October 2025 with a spooktacular evening of sweet activities.



The Shopping Centre in the inner Brisbane north suburb of Mitchelton offers a range of ghoulish fun to mark the dark and daring celebration of Halloween.

From 4pm to 7pm, kids are encouraged to come in costume and can join in the events if they dare.

The Halloween activities include:

Trick or Treat (from 5pm to 7pm)
Collect your Trick or Treat Map from the Customer Service Desk to begin your search for the treats to find all around the Centre.



Crossword Hunt (4pm to 7pm)
Follow the spooky clues across the centre, which are displayed on LED screens, to complete the crossword on your Trick or Treat Map. Once finished, drop your completed crossword into the entry barrel for a chance to win a prize.

Face Painting (4pm to 7pm)
Step into the spirit of Halloween with a face paint makeover in front of Target. An artist will be on hand to transform you into something ready for trick-or-treating magic. For children 14 years and under.

Bugs, Worms & Slugs Lab (4pm to 7pm)
Step into the creepy-crawly lab with Bugs, Slugs and Worms and create your very own polymer creatures in this hands-on, squirm-worthy science workshop. Located in front of Big W the activity is perfect for little scientists brave enough to explore the world of wiggly wonders.

No bookings are required for all activities. Brookside Shopping Centre is located at Osbourne Road, Mitchelton.
