Light Up Carols and Santa

Sing along to the songs of the festive season under the stars and join in the community celebrations at the Light Up Carols and Santa event at New Farm.



This special event on 7 December 2025 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm brings together locals, visitors ,families and friendly to gather and share some yuletide cheer.

Join the Queensland Show Choir and singer Peter Vance, grab a snag at the Rotary sausage sizzle and enjoy free popcorn donated by Councillor Vicki Howard.

New Farm Park is the perfect place to bring a picnic blanket and relax for an evening of song as one of Brisbanes' favourite open air spaces situated along the banks of the Brisbane River and beside the Brisbane Powerhouse . This event is supported by Brisbane City Council .

Free parking is available in the parks' perimeter and in surrounding streets including Brunswick Street and Oxlade Drive.
