Say farewell to 2024, prepare to party, and welcome in 2025 with a bang at the New Year's Eve fireworks spectacular in Brisbane on 31 December 2024.

In what has become a South East Queensland tradition, the Brisbane fireworks will dazzlingly illuminate the skies at Southbank Parklands along the Brisbane River against the backdrop of the city's skyscrapers.

There will be multiple opportunities to view this family-friendly event and see the skies light up with two displays. The first fireworks will shoot for the stars at 7:45 pm (to help make sure the kids don't miss out) and the main event will be bursting with colour at midnight.

Viewing the fireworks and entry to Southbank Parklands is free. This major outdoor, recreational space is located at Grey Street, South Brisbane and is accessible by ferry, train, bus, car, cycle and a gentle walk from the Central Business District.

If you are planning to visit Southbank and see the fireworks, remember to keep your pets safe since the loud sound of the bangs scares some dogs.

Make your resolutions, tip your champagne glasses and welcome in 2025 with a bang at the New Year's Eve fireworks display in Brisbane.
