Hear ye, hear ye!



Dress up as your favourite knight, princess or dragon and step into a medieval adventure with Zog at The Ginger Factory.

Visitors will enjoy an enchanting celebration, a day of festival charm and merry mayhem at the Medieval Zog Day! A great and noble challenge awaits young adventurers, a Medieval Quest woven through the corners of the Ginger Factory kingdom. With a scroll in hand, knights and princesses need to look for clues and solve riddles. At the end of this magical odyssey, a prize shall be bestowed upon each worthy hero who completes the challenge.



ZOG DAY EVENTS

•TREASURE PATH QUEST
Gather 5 magical tokens, one from each task, to earn a fun prize!

TASK 1 - The Parlour or Potions
Your adventure starts at The Mystical Parlour of Potions ...
 
“Step forward, brave traveller… For within these bubbling brews and shimmering elixirs lies the first magic of your noble quest. To begin the journey, one must first awaken the magic within.”

1. Stir the Potion of Passage prepared by our enchanting Gypsy
2. Speak the magic words aloud: “By the powers of Ginger, my quest begins!”
3. Collect your floral tribute and store it in your treasure bag.
Token – Flower



TASK 2 - The Trial of Balance
To proceed on the quest, you must ...  

•Place the Book of Wisdom upon your head
•Walk gracefully across the path without dropping it
Token – Miniature Scroll



TASK 3 - The Maypole of Moods
Colourful Ribbons flutter

Stand proudly beside The Ribbon Keeper, the joyful keeper of colours and moods...
“At the Maypole, choose the ribbon and dance around the maypole”
•Red — Brave and bold
•Blue — Calm and wise
•Green — Hopeful and growing
•Yellow — Joyful and bright
•Purple — Mysterious and magical

TASK 4 - The Hopscotch Pathway
A chalk-drawn pathway magically appears ...

Lady Twinklespark is your glittery guide - “Leap high with light feet”
1. Hop into the first square and complete the hopscotch to finish this quest
Token – Vial of glitter



TASK 5 - The Gatekeepers Riddle
The Jolly Jester, keeper of riddles and the final challenge!

Solve the riddle to earn the secret password and complete your Magical Medieval Quest:
“I have wings and soar the sky,
I breathe out fire as I fly,
I guard great treasure, bold and grand –
What am I?”
Token – A dragon scale gem

Once all the tasks are complete, head to the storekeepers at the Toy Emporium shop to collect your prize!



•ZOG APPEARANCES
Costume appearances of Zog, Princess Pearl and Sir Gadabout will be scheduled at Kids Corner.

•STORY TIME
Book Reading of Julia Donaldson books will be at Kids Corner every hour -
10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm



•CRAFT SESSIONS
Craft sessions  – Medieval themed craft on the verandah at The Toy Emporium from 10:00am – 2:00pm



•PRIZES
Prizes will be drawn on the day at the Zog School House, at 1:00pm for the :
•Best costume and
•Best dragon roar
Make sure to enter The Ginger Factory’s Zog colouring in competition! Prizes will be drawn the following day and announced on social media.
