There's a family day on Sunday 30 November 2025 that might be worth pencilling in if you enjoy watching wildlife without having to chase after it. At noon D'Aguilar Wildlife will put on a show that lets you see some of the local critters doing what they do best – being, well, wildlife – and it's all set up to be kid?friendly without any of the usual circus fanfare.

The gathering point is 516 Newnham Rd in Upper Mount Gravatt, a short drive from Brisbane. Bring the kids, a blanket or a few folding chairs, and maybe a sandwich or two. It's a relaxed Sunday, so feel free to turn up, have a look, and head home whenever you've had enough animal antics for the day.
