They're showing Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl from 2003 up on the Leisure Deck at Level 7 of The Star Brisbane. You know the one, where straight-laced blacksmith Will Turner links up with the gloriously rum-soaked pirate Jack Sparrow to yank Elizabeth Swann out of the clutches of some undead sea dogs cursed to shamble around like they partied too hard with the wrong voodoo doll.

It kicks off on Wednesday 22 April 2026, right there in the heart of Brisbane, so no excuses about swashbuckling across oceans unless your car's got a peg leg.
