Sting's musical The Last Ship is finally making its way down under for the first time, hitting QPACs Glasshouse Theatre on April 12, 2026. Pulled straight from Stings own kid days in Wallsend, UK, its about a bunch of shipyard workers staring down the barrel as their livelihood sails off into the sunset. Think colliding timelines, a spot of loss, some stubborn pride, and that nagging sense of what ties us all together, without any of the glossy hype.

Youll find it at QPAC on the corner of Melbourne Street and Grey Street in South Bank, QLD 4101. Handy for Brisbanites or anyone up for a drive, its the kind of show that might have you humming sea shanties on the way home, even if the nearest ocean is a fair hike.
